Founded by Pedro Barberá Arnau in 1912, Talleres Pedro Barberá began its career as an artistic locksmith in the center of Valencia. At the end of the 1960s, his grandson Pedro Barberá Fabra decided to enter the elevation sector, and began to manufacture doors, cabins and other components for elevators.
The company grew rapidly, and in 1971 it moved its facilities to the Fuente del Jarro industrial estate in Paterna, where it produced more than 7,000 swinging elevator doors a year. In 1991, with the incorporation of Pedro Barberá Granell, the fourth generation, the adaptation of the company to obtain ISO 9001 quality certification began. In addition, the range of products was expanded, and the supply of components and spare parts was strengthened. for the sector.
